The Yearbook is always beaming with pictures, descriptions, and glowing testamony of the new buildings the Watchtower purchased, renovated or built. Is this in fact "Building Worship"? I mean do the poor 3 Million Witnesses who meet in shacks on dirt floors, really care or understand these pictures, from their rich western society Brothers?

Does anyone have any pictures?
by BEROEAN ini've been searching all over for pictures of governing body members engaged in "unscriptural conduct" and i still haven't found any.
i thought that in this day and age with cell phone cameras and spy equipment, at least one person would have something grimey.
i want to see what really goes on after hours in the borg.

I had some photo's of Governing body members involved in immorality but then the Men in Black came knocking at my door...when I woke up I was surounded by beer bottles, and the pictures were gone, and I had the munchies really bad. Weird! My memory was partly wiped, but I remember a Lama, a dwarf, and a gang of Smurfs being involved.

Help needed desperately !!!!!
by confused and lost inhi,i have just registered here because i need someone to talk to in a way that wont end me up before a jc.i have been reading a lot of stuff recently about the wts being false prophets and the like.i also hate the fact that there are so called "spiritual" men out there who abuse their positions to molest children.i have been a witness now for 20yrs but instead of feeling spiritually alive i feel totally and utterly confused.i do not know which way to turn.anyone out there who feels the same ?
share your thoughts with me ..please and help me unburden myself to someone.

i disassociated myself in 1988 at the age of 18. my mother had divorced my non-believing father and hooked up with one of her jw pioneer sisters brothers and she ended up disfellowshipped.

I opened a few bottles of wine. {partly my fault} Brother missionary starts slurring as I top up another glass. {Here try this Merlot} Being wickedly evil I enjoy nothing better than to get as many Witnesses drunk as I could. My rule is: if you don't say no, the booze will flow! After awhile he starts to get insulting telling me how I "let myself go" and "I haven't missed any meals lately ha ha!" etc. He then goes to take another drink but fumbles the bottle spilling the red on the table, carpet, and everywhere. "Don't worry about it, we'll get that out tommorow." {I'm very easy-going} I'm not mad, I ve never had such great entertainment! I have more stories but have you got any Witness drunk stories.

My Dating horror= You can't have coffee at the mall without a chaperon???

when dating a sister whom i later married, i read every publication on courtship the society had.
i then spoke to an elder whom i thought was "resonable" and we agreed as the publications say: "a couple can meet together in a public place, when courting, without a chaperon.

One brother had to drive a sister to the meeting since no one else lived in his area. He made her sit in the back seat like "Mrs Kennedy." It looked so weird!!
